Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Anna Daddario is an American actress and model. Born in New York City on March 16, 1986, she trained in the Meisner technique and is recognized for her role as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series. Her career also includes notable credits such as the television series True Detective.

Early life

Daddario was born in New York City to Christina, a lawyer, and Richard Daddario, a prosecutor who served as the former head of the New York City Police Department counterterrorism unit. She is of Italian, English, Irish, and Slovak descent, and her grandfather was Connecticut congressman Emilio Q. Daddario. She has a younger brother, Matthew Daddario, and a younger sister, Catharine Daddario, who are both actors.
