Jackie Chan

Kong-sang Chan is a Hong Kong-born Chinese stuntman, actor, and director. Born on April 7, 1954, at Victoria Peak to parents Charles and Lee-Lee Chan, he began studying martial arts, drama, acrobatics, and singing at the age of seven. He helped bring kung fu movies into the American mainstream and is known for his slapstick, acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, and innovative stunts performed himself. His notable movies include Drunken Master, Police Story, Rush Hour, and Rumble in the Bronx.

Early life

Chan was born on Hong Kong's Victoria Peak to parents Charles and Lee-Lee Chan. At the age of seven, he began studying martial arts, drama, acrobatics, and singing.

Career

Chan began his film career as an extra child actor in the 1962 film Big and Little Wong Tin Bar. He later worked as a stuntman opposite Bruce Lee in the 1972 film Fist of Fury and the 1973 film Enter the Dragon.
