Ella Bright

Ella Bright is an American-British actress and singer. Born in New York City in 2006, she grew up in North London and studied at South Hampstead High School for girls. She made her television debut in the series Legends in 2015 and gained recognition for her role as Darrell Rivers in the BBC series Malory Towers, which ran from 2019 to 2025. Her notable works include starring as young Kate Middleton in The Crown (2024) and Hannah Wells in the Prime Video series Off Campus (2026).

Career

Bright made her television debut in the series Legends in 2015. In 2017, she made her West End debut as Lily Potter Jr. in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. From 2019 to 2025, she starred as Darrell Rivers in the BBC television series Malory Towers. For this performance, she received nominations for a Children's BAFTA and an Emmy Award. In 2024, she played young Kate Middleton in The Crown. She began starring as Hannah Wells in the Prime Video series Off Campus in 2026.
