John Felix Anthony Cena is an American actor, retired professional wrestler, and former rapper. He began his career as a bodybuilder before entering the world of wrestling in 1999, eventually becoming recognized as a 17-time WWE world champion. Early life

Cena was born on April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, Massachusetts. His parents are Carol Cena and John Joseph Cena. He is of Italian descent from his father and French-Canadian and English descent from his mother. Additionally, he is the grandson of baseball player Tony Lupien. Cena graduated from Springfield College.

Career

Cena started his professional life as a bodybuilder before transitioning into wrestling in 1999.
